David Wacks is author of Framing Iberia: Frametales and Maqamat in Medieval Spain, published by Brill in 2007,  and Double Diaspora in Sephardic Literature 1200-1550: Jewish Cultural Production before and after 1492, published by Indiana University Press in 2015, and Medieval Iberian Crusade Fiction and the Mediterranean World (University of Toronto Press: 2019). He forms part of a research group (Symbioses) working on Biblical exegesis in Alfonso X’s General estoria (13th c.). He blogs on his current research at http://davidwacks.uoregon.edu.
