Research

Annie’s research interests include the decolonization of archaeological and museal practices and Critical Heritage Studies (CHS), which is an interdisciplinary field that aims to democratize heritage management and bring academic research practices and subaltern and indigenous interests into better alignment. For her dissertation, Annie is conducting an ethno-critical analysis of Caribbean archaeological practices and discourse.
